What Freedom?

Germany did two things before endeavoring to commit genocide.
1. Disarmed its citizens with gun control laws
2. Started spying on its own citizens.

If you don't think that something that terrible could happen here, think back a few years to McCarthy, disenfranchisement of women, ... slavery.

And think of why we have these three essential elements to our freedom:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized" (fourth amendment).

“Nor shall any person…..be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law” (fifth amendment).

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." (Second amendment).
